I have an opportunity to purchace a 1986 JD 855 w FEL 1580 hours Turf tires 4WD. Tractor is in good condition for its age. I live in the state of Maine. Asking price is $9500. Is this about right? It's a JD dealer selling it. Thanks for any help.
Also I currently own a 1983 JD 650 w FEL(model 67), Ag tires, 4WD and 760 hours. Tractor is in very good condition. What is a fair asking price if I try to sell this tractor?

Earlier this year I purchased a 1998 755 4wd FEL 600 hours, rear mower and tiller, for $9500. I think that was a little cheap. I think your 855 price is in the ballpark. Not a steal but a fair price.

Phil. That price is a little high for that many hrs. I would try to get the dealer down 5 to 7 hundread. I also live Maine, (Franklin) and sold in 98' an 88' 755 4wd, #52 FEL, JD 60" midmount mower,JD 413 bushhog with 800 hrs. for 12,200.

Last spring I sold a JD750 MFWD Bar tires w/ 67 FEL, 400 hrs in very good cond and running perfect for $8500. ....
